Using Print Licenses for Batch Printing
The New World ERP software offers you a way to print your licenses in bulk—for instance, once per week—instead of printing them one at a time when the check comes in.
Two important things to remember when using this feature:
- The License Renewal must be paid in full.
- The batch(es) for the license receipts must have been POSTED prior.
Furthermore, if you collected money for a license today, it is unlikely that it will appear in a Print Licenses batch created today. These licenses will show up in the next batch.
Navigate to Community Development > Licensing > Print Licenses:
Fill in the Issue Date and the From License Effective Date and To License Effective Date fields. Remember that the effective date is going to be the first date that the license is valid. Typically, you will use 1/1/20xx here through 12/31/20xx:
Click the drop-down next to Current Print Status and indicate whether the licenses you would like to print are currently unprinted, already previously printed, or a combination of both.
You will generally only print unprinted licenses because printed ones will reprint all licenses that have already been printed. If you need to re-print a license, go to that specific license under licensee service:
Click the drop-down next to Print. It is recommended that you choose Listing and License. That way, you will get a listing of everything that you have chosen to print along with the actual licenses:
Click Print at the bottom to print your licenses:
To retrieve your licenses, click on the 9-Box in the upper right:
Click on Reports:
Click on the Print Licenses option at the top of your report list:
Click the Download File button:
Click on whatever prompt the browser displays to open your Microsoft Word licenses. The licenses will open in Word. Look them over first, then print to the printer of your choosing:
Note: Printing single licenses from this area is not recommended. It is easier to print or reprint a license from the License edit mode directly.
